HTTV is a Los Angeles-based, Chinese-language digital community newsroom dedicated to providing timely, trusted, and culturally relevant news to Chinese-speaking and immigrant communities. Originally established as a television media organization, HTTV transformed during COVID into a text-based, digital-first newsroom, supplemented by video and visual reporting. Through its website, YouTube, WeChat, and social platforms, HTTV produces original reporting on local and state government, public health, elections, emergency preparedness, education, public safety, and issues affecting immigrant families and small businesses. With deep roots in the community, HTTV strives to bridge language and information gaps, connect underserved audiences with vital civic resources, and strengthen informed participation in California’s diverse communities.
